Privacy Policy

Draft. This policy is pending attorney review and may change. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Questions? Contact us at support@leaderhq.io.
LeaderOps (“LeaderOps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of LeaderHQ, a division of Know Freedom Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LeaderOps, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account email. The email address you use to sign in and receive notifications.
- Comp plan data. The compensation plan PDFs you upload and the structured data we extract from them.
- Downline data. Contact records and performance data you import via CSV or Leader Suite integrations.
- Cookies and session data. We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and to operate the service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- Contact and support inquiries. The name, email address, topic, and message you submit through our contact form.
AI-assisted features (planned). LeaderOps markets a planned “Comp Plan AI” feature that will extract structured data from an uploaded compensation-plan document using a third-party AI service. This feature is not yet live and does not currently process any user data. Before it launches, we will update this Privacy Policy to name the AI vendor used and describe exactly what data is sent to it and how it’s retained.
Information collected on behalf of our customers
Downline data in LeaderOps is submitted by our customer — for example, contact records and performance data imported from a comp plan or a Leader Suite integration. For that information, our customer is the data controller and we act as a service provider (processor), storing and processing it only on the customer’s instructions. If you believe a LeaderOps customer holds your information and you want it corrected or deleted, contact that customer directly, or email us at support@leaderhq.io and we will assist.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve LeaderOps.
- Generate your daily action priorities and rank alerts.
- Send transactional and account-related email (for example, alerts and sign-in messages).
- Process subscriptions and billing.
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security issues.
Cookies
LeaderOps uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and short-lived cookies used for security (such as sign-in and CSRF protection). We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not set analytics or marketing cookies. Because we use no non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Service providers
We share information only with the vendors needed to run the service:
- Postmark processes our transactional email so we can deliver alerts and sign-in messages.
- Stripe processes payments and manages subscriptions. We do not store your full card numbers; Stripe handles payment data directly.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain your account information, comp plan data, and downline records for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or close your account, we remove the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Your privacy rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information.
- Portability — receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Restriction and objection — restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights arise under the GDPR / UK GDPR, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the rights above plus the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
To exercise any of these rights, use the tools in the app or email support@leaderhq.io. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA/CPRA).
Children’s privacy
LeaderOps is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of LeaderOps after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
